A Fresh Start, Built on Family Land
Every venue has a story. Ours begins with a second chance.
Before Krishna Kabery Garden, I ran a different business — and it didn’t work out. I lost a significant amount of money, and for a while, I wasn’t sure what came next.
What I did have was land, gifted to me by my father. With few other options in front of me, I decided to turn that land into something new.
That decision became Krishna Kabery Garden.
I’m Subho Deep Ghosh, and I’m proud to say this venue is entirely my own — built from the ground up, out of necessity, and out of a determination to make it work.
Where It All Began
We hosted our very first event on 25th December 2023.
It was a small beginning, but it proved something important: with the right space and the right care, families would trust us with their most meaningful celebrations.
Since that first event, Krishna Kabery Garden has grown steadily. As of today, we’ve had the honour of hosting 15 weddings and family celebrations — each one shaping how we run the venue today.
Every wedding, reception, and gathering has taught us something. Consequently, we’ve refined our catering, our layout, and our service around what families in Barasat actually need on their biggest day.
What We’ve Built Since
Starting again wasn’t easy. However, it pushed us to build a venue that we’re genuinely proud of.
Today, Krishna Kabery Garden offers:
- An air-conditioned banquet hall spanning 3,200 sq. ft., seating up to 350 guests
- A 50,000 sq. ft. outdoor lawn for larger, open-air celebrations
- A 2,000 sq. ft. weather-proof dining area, seating up to 200 guests
- In-house catering across Indian, Bengali, Chinese, and Continental cuisines
- Full generator backup, so no celebration is ever interrupted
- On-site parking for 30+ vehicles
- Total capacity for up to 1,200 guests
We built this not as a business plan on paper, but one event at a time — learning directly from every family we’ve worked with.
Our Approach
We’re still a young venue, and we don’t pretend otherwise. But that also means every family who books with us gets our full attention — not a routine.
I’m personally involved in the planning of every event we host. As a result, you’re not dealing with a call centre or a rotating events team — you’re dealing with the person who built this place.
That’s a promise we intend to keep as we grow.
